Use Premium Window Screen Pulls Tabs For Easy Installation
Pull tabs or screen lift tabs are small tools designed to make window screen installations simpler. How? By helping with both the insertion and removal of window screen. With our high-quality pull tabs, you can install your replacement window screen frame in a few minutes.
Why Add Pull Tabs to Window Screens?
Not having window screen pull tabs can make the removal and installation of window screens challenging, especially for first-time screen replacement projects. Here's why:
- Difficult grip: Difficult to grip the screen while removing or placing it in the window sill.
- Increased Risk of Damage: You may need to use more force or additional tools to push the screen frame out of the window. This adds risk to bending the frame or the screen material.
- Alignment issues: Requires numerous adjustments while aligning the window screen to the window.
How to Install Spline Channel Pull Tabs?
To install a pull tab, it needs to be inserted into the screen spline channel.
Carefully remove the screen spline and the mesh from the frame. Skip this step if the screen material and spline aren't installed.
- Place the spline channel pull tabs into the screen channel of the frame. The channel side of these components should be facing upwards.
- Roll out the screen material over the pull tabs and the screen frame. Adjust its position so that it covers the entire window screen frame.
- Roll the spline into the screen frame channel and pull tab channels with a rolling tool.
