Half Window Screens typically cover either the bottom half of the window or one side of a window (in the case of a horizontal slider). Half Window Screens are typically used for fenestration (insect protection) purposes. There are a variety of ways that a half-window screen can mount, but usually they have either Leaf Springs, Tension Springs or Ram Horn Clips located on the top or side with plastic pull tabs on the bottom or other side. If you're looking for a Half Window screen, on our site you'll want to take a look a the Custom Window Screens category on our site.

Full Window Screens or Wood Window Screens cover the entire window, and are typically used for either Double Hung windows or for Solar Screens. They will often have a bar across the middle of the window for support placed where the two parts of the window meet (the Meeting Rail). With Aluminum or Vinyl windows there may be a track at the top and bottom for installation (especially in the case of solar screens). But, installation hardware varies, and will depend on your particular type of window (we see everything from tension springs to spring plungers to butterfly latches).

Hey Jason,
I have my screens and they are great! Fit was perfect and they are made better than the builders screens.
Thanks for a good job and I have already recommended your company to neighbors.
